Tree Service in Gladstone, MO

Tree care throughout Gladstone and the Northland, with the same crew that works the rest of the metro.

Local Tree Service

Gladstone is a Northland regular for us. The neighborhoods here went up largely in the postwar decades, and the trees planted with them are now full grown and sitting close to the houses.

We handle removals, trimming, storm cleanup, and stump grinding throughout the city and the surrounding Northland neighborhoods.

What the Trees Are Like Here

Postwar Gladstone lots follow a pattern: a modest lot, a mature shade tree planted near the front corner of the house, and sixty-odd years of growth since. Those trees are now large enough that a failure hits the roof, which is why so much of our work here is preventative crown reduction and deadwood clearing.

Silver maple and pin oak dominate, and both drop limbs in wind. Ash is the other common one, and after emerald ash borer moved through, a lot of Northland ash is standing dead and brittle. Dead ash does not come down the way a live tree does, and it should not be climbed.

FAQs

Tree Service in Gladstone, MO Questions

My ash tree looks dead. Is it urgent?

More than most people think. A dead ash goes brittle fast, which makes it dangerous to climb and unpredictable when it comes down. If it is near the house or the driveway, it is worth handling this season rather than next.

Do you cover the rest of the Northland?

Yes. Gladstone, and out through the surrounding Clay County neighborhoods, is regular territory for us.
