Tree Service in Kansas City, MO
Tree removal, trimming, and storm response across Kansas City proper, from the Northland to south of the Plaza.
Kansas City is home base. We work the whole city, from the Northland down through Brookside and Waldo to the state line, and we have been doing it since 2015.
The city’s older neighborhoods carry some of the biggest canopy in the metro, and a lot of it is now well past its prime. That is most of what we do here: taking down the trees that have run out of road, and keeping the healthy ones out of roofs and power lines.
What the Trees Are Like Here
The tree-lined streets through Brookside, Waldo, and Armour Hills were planted around the same time, which means whole blocks of pin oaks and silver maples are aging out together. Silver maple in particular splits at tight, included-bark crotches, and it tends to do it in the first hard wind of the season.
Older KC lots also come with older infrastructure: narrow driveways, detached garages at the back of the lot, alley access, and utility lines cutting through the back yard. That is where the tracked lift earns its keep, because it fits down a side yard that no bucket truck is getting into.

Do you work in the Northland as well as south Kansas City?
Yes. We cover the entire city on both sides of the river, from the Northland down to the state line, and we do not charge differently based on which side of the river you are on.
A city tree between the sidewalk and the street came down. Is that yours to handle?
Street trees in the right-of-way are usually the city's responsibility rather than the homeowner's, and the rules differ depending on where the tree sits. Call us and we will tell you honestly whether it is your tree or a call to the city, before anyone quotes you for it.
